How To Get Eye Of Enders/Find A Stronghold
This picture might look complex and a hard place to find. While it is hard to find, you can find it easy with some tactics. Strongholds are randomly generated structures that spawn underground. They can be anywhere on the map. There are a few ways to find them. You can look up a seed that has knows stronghold locations. you can check some cave systems and be lucky finding it that way, but the next way is what most people do in finding these structures..
Thes best way most people find these structures is finding eye of enders. If you look in the picture above, each eye of ender goes in the empty frame block of the portal, so you will need 12 of these. To collect eye of enders, the items you need to craft it are blaze powder and an ender pearl. To get blaze powder, you will need a blaze rod, which you obtain by going into the nether and finding a nether fortress. There are spawners located within the fortress, and they spawn blazes. Killing a blaze will give you blaze rods, so you will need to stay there for a bit to collect many. I would say you would need to collect around 32 to be safe. If you have never attacked a blaze, it is a strong mob, so you will need that armor that I mentioned back on the materials page.
When you get your eye of enders, it is now time to start looking for the stronghold. You have to go above ground and right click them. Once you do, they will float in a direction and then fall down. Keep doing this until they do not float into a direction. You will then know that there is a stronghold beneath you. Once you dig down, you will see spawned in structures. Make your way through until you find a room like the picture above.
